Rising Afropop sensation, Emmanuel Omonigho Njambo professionally known as JBold has hinted at the release of a new hit single titled ‘I like’. Sharing details of the new single to his fans, Jbold said, “My new single has a mixture of my genuine past experiences with my teenage crush, my growth as an artist and my love for the expressive instrumentals. They literally lead me to the direction where I get my stories and melodies from”, he said.
Continuing, the indie artist said, “The vibe of my new sound is melodious and nostalgic because it reminds you a little bit of what you’ve probably been through or imagined. Plus there is a vibe in every song and I look forward to my fans liking this one.”
According to the singer, his friend Vynchie produced the track, sharing his relationship and connection with the producer who created the soothing tune, he said, “This song was produced by Oluwadamilola Lasisi (Vynchie). He’s my friend, brother and music mentor because he has always guided me on how to progress on my art and is always available to create music out of my emotions at any given time. We connect effortlessly and have made countless numbers of music together”.
On what his listeners should take away from his artistry, he said I hope they learn that talent is talent when you showcase it. I was underground for too long because I didn’t think my talent was good enough. Now I’m super confident and I’m looking forward to being the best I can ever be”, said Jbold.
