Foundation Flags off Malnutrition Intervention Programme in Lagos

The Oladele Fajemirokun Foundation,a community-focusednon-governmental organisation, in collaboration with AIICO Insurance has flagged off the‘Sustainable Malnutrition Intervention programme (SMALINT)’ to fight malnutrition in children inLagos State.

According to the Executive Director of the Foundation, Mrs.Lawumi Fajemirokun, who was represented by the Programme Manager, Mr. Kenechukwu Egbue, at the flagging-off ceremony inLekki, Lagos, the SMALINT programme seeks to improve the nutritional profile of children fromsix months to five years through the provision of protein-rich foods, food demonstration classes, sensitisation and community dialogue sessions.
