CWG Adopts New Framework for Business Operation

Pan-African Information and Communications Technology company, CWG Plc said it has adopted a four-component framework that will allow its business operation to drive efficiency and real-time processing.
The four-component, according to the company, include People, Process, Technology and Product, stressing that this approach will give CWG rapid time to market to meet the customers’ needs and support their business journey.

“We adopt a four-component framework for our business operation to drive efficiency, real-time processing and rapid time to market to meet the customers’ needs and support their business journey,” CWG disclosed in a presentation at a technology forum, organized by the Nigerian Information Technology Reporter Association (NITRA) in Lagos last week.

Giving the presentation, CWG’s Head of Brand and Marketing, Seun Koshoedo explained that for People, CWG has identified and deployed human capital for value creation, which has led to multi-disciplinary resources, rationalised and restructured functions, elimination of low value-added activities for each function and simplified structure.

She said the Process of operation at CWG is being rationalized and justly automated to minimize or even eliminate human interactions as part of efforts to simplify workflows and adhere to industry best practices across the group.

According to Koshoedo, CWG is presently adopting technology to drive innovation and business objective not product-specific, emphasizing that such an approach will solve real time complex challenges and leveraging gaps in existing platforms.

Speaking on the Product as part of the approach, Koshoedo explained that providing economic growth opportunities with enabling product offerings will give the company an edge going forward.
