Gunmen Attack Police Division, Kill Two Officers in Enugu

No fewer than two police officers were Wednesday killed, while several others sustained varying degrees of injuries following a midnight attack on a police division in Enugu.

Gunmen had in the early hours of Wednesday reportedly attacked the Divisional Police Headquarters, Adani in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The police station was reportedly razed.

Sources confirmed that the attack on the police station started at about 2:30am and lasted for about one hour.

The police in the Enugu are yet to confirm the attack as at the time of filing this report.
