Samdot Releases New Song, Plans Big For 2021

Nigerian singer, songwriter and philanthropist, Samuel Obawusi, better known by his stage name SAMDOT, is a US based lyricist and entertainer who hails from Osun state and has been making waves, big moves for years in his career. He schooled in Nigeria, where he started his musical career as far back as 2015 in Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, then relocated to the USA where he fully continued his musical career.

SAMDOT is well known for being an outstanding performer, excellent song writer, melodious vocalist and most importantly a very generous philanthropist. He was born and raised in the Heart of the Yoruba Dynasty, Ibadan, Oyo as the second child in a family of 5 children.

Speaking on his new song titled ‘Blessed’, he said; “1 have just released my first song for the year 2021 titled ‘Blessed’. This song reflects my personal life story so far especially in the year 2020 being a very difficult year for everyone and my life all the way from the streets of Nigeria to the big cities in the United States, also, about how I have been blessed with beautiful family, life and wonderful friends. Some of my other songs are, 12am, energy, wake up, pay me, bad man, and I have been featured in several songs as well.”

His handsome looks and stylish hairstyle has always singled him out though he has achieved a lot at a tender age to make him more popular. His good sounds and energy keeps him going and as a matter of fact he inspires himself because He believes he has what it takes.

SAMDOT is at the forefront of his music career and his music always carries an important message for the Youths around the world. He has been making music since he was in his teens with production credits on several songs from a younger generation of Nigerian artists.

He added saying; “In 10 years Nigeria’s music industry will take over the world because I can see the pressure already, more talented musicians keep showing on the timeline. So I believe in 10 years Nigeria’s music industry will be very great.”

Samdot has immensely contributed to the growth of the Nigerian music industry in So many ways financially, music-wise by advising them with his music and letting them know what to do at the right time. Basically his music speaks well for him. On who inspires him in the Nigerian Music Industry, he noted; “Davido, when I get up there I will love to be the second Davido in terms of caring for my people and supporting them.”
