President Muhammadu Buhari has assented to Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act (BOFIA)  2020.

The Act repeals the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act 1991 (as amended).

In a tweet from his twitter handle @MBuhari on Friday, President Buhari said he signed the new law on Thursday.
