Rivers State Governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of THISDAY’s Assistant Editor and South-south regional editor, Mr. Ernest Chinwo, as the new General Manager of the Rivers State Newspaper Corporation, publishers of the Nigerian Tide group.
A statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr. Paulinus Nsirim, said the appointment takes immediate effect.
The statement also announced the appointment of Mr. Kelvin Ebiri as the Special Assistant (Media) to the governor.
