An early morning explosion Thursday rocked Akure communities of Elleyowo and Iluabo on Akure-Owo Road in the suburb of the state capital.
The explosion, which shook parts of the state capital injured about 13 persons and destroyed not less than 50 houses including schools and worship centres.
The ever-busy Akure-Owo Road had been cordoned off and already there is a diversion of traffic on the road .
