MTN Nigeria in collaboration with Google recently empowered small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State by training 50 entrepreneurs in digital marketing.
Speakers at the event included the Pricing Manager, Enterprise Business Unit, MTN Nigeria, Bridget Enuma and Google Digital Skill Trainer for Haptics, Daniel Chinagozi.
According to a statement issued by the company, MTN Nigeria has focused heavily on making significant investments in developing Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across Nigeria. The move is aimed at improving the digital skills of small business owners, which in turn will empower them to create more opportunities for Nigerians and improve the country’s economy.
The events involved a series of talks and workshops on the various Google tools that can help SMEs find and understand new clients, followed by one-on-one sessions with key Google executives.
The training is the second in a series of training collaborations that MTN has planned for small business owners across various parts of Nigeria to deliver value to businesses
