Late General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. Musa Asake, will be buried on Friday, June 8. Asake died on May 11 after a brief illness.
According to the funeral programme announced by the Chairman, Burial Planning Committee, John Kennedy Opara, Asake’s final journey home begins Tuesday with a service of songs at the  International Christian centre, Abuja.
It will be followed by a ‎commendation service on Wednesday in Abuja while the wake keep/service of songs will hold on Thursday at Angwar Rimi, Zango Kataf local government area of Kaduna State.‎
An interdenominational funeral service ‎will hold at the Kafanchan Township Stadium on Friday after his remains will be interred at Asake family compound, Angwar Rimi, A statement signed by Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, Media Assistant to the CAN President, ‎said the family and CAN “jointly planned and lined up some activities to give him a befitting burial as a God’s general who died on active duty‎.”
