For some time, there have been rumours that Hon. Ladi Adebutu, a member of the Federal House of Representatives, is planning to defect to another party in order to realise his governorship ambition.
However, the respected lawmaker has debunked the rumours, saying he was still in the party on whose platform he became a member of the lower chamber of the National Assembly, PDP. He stated this recently at a party he organised to celebrate his brother, Ajibola.
Adebutu, who will be honoured with a chieftaincy title in Shagamu on April 2, is still very much interested in becoming the next governor of Ogun State. Among other considerations, he has made good all his promises to his constituents and still doing more by way of empowerment for the youth, the aged and several members of the constituency he represents in Abuja.
