Peter Obafemi Keeps Low Profile

For some time now, many have expressed concerns about Peter Obafemi, a businessman. Some are wondering     what he has up his sleeves now. This may not be surprising as he seems to be keeping a low profile after he suffered a huge electoral loss in 2014.

It will be recalled that he was managing his business when he was lured into politics. He had contested the number one job in Ekiti State in 2014, but lost to the incumbent, Ayo Fayose, in the primary.
A source disclosed that the US-based businessman, who was left broke afterwards, might have bade farewell to politics, as he claimed that many betrayed his trust.

He started out as a businessman in 1985 with Budget TV and Appliances Rental Service Store on Central Avenue in East Orange, New Jersey. Subsequently, he became a consultant in the opening of Heritage Spas on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. It is also on record that between 1985 and 1988, he owned one of the largest Western Union franchises in the state of New Jersey. He later made the Lagos-Atlanta direct flight possible with his Ritetime/ World Airways until 2005.
