MY NAME IS PRINCE SHOWCASES ITEMS FROM SINGER’S PAISLEY PARK

London’s O2 Arena has always been home to late singer Prince. It was here that he held sold out concerts. Therefore, the arena is arguably apt for a befitting honour and celebration of the Purple One.

The arena was transformed to a purple Mecca of some sort where hundreds of items from the singer’s Paisley Park were showcased in an exhibition titled ‘My Name is Prince’. Viewers are taken through different stages of the singer’s life. From his ever-changing fashion style to the personas he developed throughout his music career.

There are also a wardrobe of his famous outfits and footage from his tours. Visitors also get a look at some of his pencilled lyrics for songs such as Erotic City, as well as the notable Third Eye sunglasses, and a diamond-studded cane and waistcoat.
