When Hakeem Adeyemi, one of the sons of the Alaafia of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, was nursing the ambition to represent the people of Atiba/Afijio/Oyo East/Oyo West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2015, many had thought that he was on a wild goose chase.
 The thinking in some quarters then was that he could not destroy the political structures already put in place by Hon. Kamil Akinlabi. But handsome Adeyemi was able to achieve the feat and even literally dislodged Akinlabi from the House.
 Though many had attributed his success in the election only to his father’s influence, the truth is that his beautiful wife, Princess Adeteju Temitope, also contributed in no small measures to his victory.
 Indeed, his wife’s counsel, love and care, in addition to the trust and popularity he has built over the years in his people, can be described as the secret to his rising profile. In other words, the motivation he gets from his wife plays an essential role in his life, as he is able to climb the ladder of success with ease, while also bringing out the best out of him.
