Poise Nigeria Appoints New Executives

The Board of Directors of Poise Nigeria Limited has approved the promotion of Mrs. Mavi Sokia Isibor, from Group CEO, to Executive Vice Chairman of the Board. The Etiquette Icon celebrated 17 years of establishing and building Poise Nigeria to the brand it is today.

During her tenure, Poise Nigeria has transformed the professional landscape in Nigeria after starting as the first Finishing School in 2000. She has been recognised for her outstanding achievements by various organisations in Nigeria and beyond. Her excellent leadership has positioned Poise Nigeria for continued success and strategic growth.
Also, Poise Nigeria Board of Directors, led by its Chairman, Professor Pat Utomi, appointed Mrs. Ukinebo Dare as the acting Managing Director of Poise Nigeria Limited, effective September 8, 2017.

Dare joined Poise Nigeria in 2010 and during succeeding years, she established and grew Poise Graduate Finishing Academy from an idea into a vibrant organisation with local and international affiliations. She has also held various positions such as Head of Shared Services, Poise Nigeria and Programme Director, Ekobits.

During her time at Poise, she setup Poise Graduate Finishing Academy where she created the PSENSE Employability Certification in partnership with educators and employers. This certification is endorsed by the National Universities Commission and has impacted almost 30,000 youths connecting them to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Her prowess in business and her passion for people development has won her many awards including:

The BusinessDay 40 Nigerians Under 40 CEOS (2013) by Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment; Ford Foundation Prize for Youth Employment (2015) by Future Awards Africa; JCI Ten Outstanding Young Person Award Nigeria (2017) by JCI International; Mandela Washington Fellow (2017) by United States Department of State.
She is also the Chairperson, Board of Directors for BITS Global, an international network of BITS Schools that train youth on ICT and Digital Design skills.
