The plane containing the last batch of Bauchi State pilgrims who performed this year’s hajj in Saudi Arabia has landed at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport Bauchi (ATBIAB).

Apart from the over 400 pilgrims in the Fly Nass plane, the plane also came with officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board as well as the representative of the national Amirul Hajj, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleman Adamu.

Addressing newsmen at the airport Monday, the representative of the Amirul Hajj thanked Allah for his support which made this year’s hajj successful. He also commended this year’s pilgrims from Nigeria for exhibiting good conduct throughout their stay in the holy land.

The emir also commended state pilgrims welfare boards for supporting NAHCON during the hajj operation, stressing that without their support the successes recorded would not be achieved.

Also speaking, the chairman of the state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Ibrahim Sa’idu Jahun, expressed joy for what he described as one of the most successful hajj operations in the state.
