A mob attacked the palace of the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Akanbi on Monday to register  their anger over the rescue of a suspected kidnapper despite the incessant cases of missing children in the town in recent time.

THISDAY learnt that the suspected female kidnapper was apprehended by the people  when she lured a child to a corner and attempted to kidnap the child.

An eyewitness said a huge crowd gathered and insisted that the suspect must be killed.
The kidnapper was however  rescued by some people who took her to the palace of Oluwo to save her life.
