One of Nigeria’s finest actors, models and musicians OC Ukeje along with Ini Dima Okojie were recently starred in a new movie titled ‘North East’. The movie also features performances from Gbenga Titiloye and the adorable Carol King with star appearances by Saheed Funky Mallam, filmmaker Belinda Yanda Agedah, Tope Sadiq, and AlexAyalogu.

‘North East’ is a Watts Camera Action Production written, Produced and Directed by Muyiwa Aluko. It is a very open minded movie with sweet suspense, descent action and romance, and love, and it’s very challenging as well.
The writer, director and producer, Muyiwa, absolutely took responsibility for everything that happened and the new movie finally ignited the cinemas recently in Lagos.

OC Ukeje’s character in the movie was in full force that he didn’t only act but also sang and danced which spiced up his romantic role in the movie. It’s a great story, which revolves around an Igbo Christian Physiotherapist who embarks on a romantic relationship with one of his patients, who is a Hausa Muslim.

Two beautiful hearts whose passion and love sunk on each other’s only to face vehement opposition on the basis of religion and tribe from her father. The battle for love and togetherness invited great war from her father and poses threat to the happy relationship of both parents so how does these love birds get over this ethno-religious barrier? Will love triumph? North East is a must watch.

Speaking with Muyiwa about the challenges he had while putting up the movie, he said, “no challenges. Honestly when I was writing this story, I have my casts. I was casting already so you can’t have any challenges when you have OC Ukeje, Carol King, Belinda and others. In fact, professionals surrounded me. Belinda played two scenes and she’s fantastic and unforgettable. No challenges at all,” he added.
