The former National Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olusola Oke, on Monday described the decision by the Federal Government to revisit the Olokola Project as one that would bring joy to the people of the state.

Oke, who is one of the. All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirants for Ondo State 2016 election, expressed his position in a statement signed by his Media Adviser, Rotimi Ogunleye.

“The Olokola project, you will recall, was a project designed to bring into our state economic prosperity, diversify our economy, provide employment and serve as a huge source of revenue generation to the government of Ondo state. Apart from its advantages to the state, it will serve as a source of additional foreign exchange earnings to the federal government.

“For close to eight years running, the people of Ondo state have been denied of the benefits the project would have generated.

“The project would have among the benefits bring direct and indirect job opportunity to the state”, he said.
