African Edits, PriceWise Partnership Opens New Opportunities For Nigerian Fashion.

African Edits, an Afro-fusion fashion and lifestyle brand under African Fashion Company Limited, is positioning Nigerian-inspired fashion for wider market access through a distribution partnership with PriceWise Stores Nigeria Limited, with a vision to create opportunities for local artisans, tailors and emerging creative talent.

Founded by entrepreneur and Creative Director, Raheemah Akande, African Edits was established to bridge the gap between Africa’s rich textile heritage and the everyday fashion needs of modern consumers. The brand combines African fabrics and design traditions with contemporary styles, with the aim of making African fashion versatile, accessible and relevant to a global audience.

PriceWise, a Nigerian family-focused retail company, offers clothing, footwear, accessories, homeware and other consumer goods at affordable prices. Its emphasis on accessible shopping and products for different members of the family provides a retail environment in which locally developed fashion can reach consumers looking for distinctive styles at practical price points.

The collaboration creates an opportunity for African Edits to connect its design and product-development work with an established retail distribution channel. For consumers, it offers another avenue through which to discover Nigerian-inspired fashion within the organised retail sector.

Commencing on November 15, 2026, the partnership will make African Edits clothing and accessories available at all PriceWise stores across Nigeria, providing customers nationwide with access to the brand’s distinctive blend of African textile heritage and contemporary fashion. PriceWise has stores in Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Owerri, Delta, Enugu, Ibadan, Ado-Ekiti, Ilorin, Osogbo, Warri, Benin city, Abeokuta and Akure.

Speaking on the vision behind the business, Akande said:

“African Edits was established out of a desire to see African fashion become a more integral part of everyday life, rather than something reserved for special occasions. We have an extraordinary heritage of textiles, craftsmanship, colours and design in Nigeria, and I believe these can be translated into contemporary products that appeal to customers both at home and internationally.

“For me, the vision goes beyond clothing. It is about building an African lifestyle brand that celebrates our identity, creates value from our creative heritage and provides opportunities for the talented people whose skills make this industry possible. I want us to demonstrate that Nigerian creativity can compete in the marketplace while remaining connected to its roots.”
