Oluyede Leads OPARHA Supporters in Tinubu Re-election Mobilisation in Ekiti

Dr. Wole Oluyede, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, has led supporters of the Oluwole Political Action and Reformation Agenda (OPARHA) in a mobilisation exercise in support of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.

The mobilisation, which involved supporters drawn from the 16 local government areas of the state, formed part of activities by OPARHA to promote support for Tinubu ahead of the next presidential election.

Oluyede’s involvement has attracted attention because of his continued association with the PDP while participating in activities supporting the re-election of an All Progressives Congress (APC) president.

The development reflects a form of cross-party political engagement, with Oluyede and his supporters participating in a political mobilisation centred on Tinubu’s second-term ambition despite differences in party affiliation.

OPARHA’s participation also highlighted the movement’s organisational activities across Ekiti’s 16 local government areas and its stated support for the president’s re-election bid.

The mobilisation brought together political supporters from different backgrounds, with the development drawing attention to the possibility of political cooperation beyond established party affiliations.

Oluyede’s participation, however, does not in itself indicate a formal defection from the PDP.
