Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Political and Other Matters, is among the members of the presidential delegation accompanying the President on an Umrah pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

A statement issued Tuesday by the Media Office of the Special Adviser said the delegation includes state governors, National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and other senior government officials.

Masari joined the President and other members of the delegation in performing the rites of Umrah in Makkah, where they offered prayers for Nigeria’s peace, security, unity and prosperity.

Speaking on the significance of the pilgrimage, Masari said it provided an opportunity to seek divine guidance for the country and its leadership, particularly President Tinubu and his administration.

“We are using this important spiritual exercise to seek Almighty Allah’s guidance for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration. Nigeria’s peace, unity and prosperity remain paramount, and we pray for the wisdom and strength needed to advance the country,” he said.

He expressed hope that the spiritual exercise would renew the delegation’s commitment to national service and strengthen collective efforts towards building a more peaceful, secure and prosperous country.

Masari also prayed for Allah’s continued protection over Nigeria and its citizens, expressing confidence that the country’s challenges would give way to progress through divine intervention and purposeful leadership.
