ICMR Holds 15th Annual Conference, Inducts New Members

The Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR) has announced plans to hold its 15th annual conference, with discussions focusing on institutional resilience and sustainable capital market development.

The conference, scheduled to take place at the Ballroom of Oriental Hotel, Lagos, will also feature the investiture of fellows and induction of new members.

In a statement, the President and Chairman of Council, Mrs. Catherine Nwosu, said the conference will have the theme, “Beyond Recapitalisation: Building Resilient Institutions and a Sustainable Capital Market.”

The Chief Executive Officer of Financial Derivatives Company Limited, Mr. Bismarck Rewane, will deliver the keynote address, examining ways to strengthen institutions and support sustainable growth in the capital market.

The one-day event will bring together industry leaders and other stakeholders to explore emerging opportunities, institutional capacity, innovation and market development.

According to the institute, the investiture and induction ceremonies will reaffirm its commitment to professional excellence, ethical standards and capacity building.

The conference is also expected to provide a platform for knowledge exchange, networking and strategic collaboration, while highlighting the role of registrars in strengthening investor confidence and market integrity.
