Glam & Fire Conference Holds on October 3, to Help Business Women Discover Identity in Christ

The Glam and Fire Conference, an annual event for Christian women and the general public convened by Peggy Ovat holds on October 3, 2026, at 9a.m. at SOMI Church Lekki, Lagos.

According to the Convener, Mrs. Peggy Ovat the conference aims to help business women to discover their identity in Christ and fulfill their divine purpose.

Ovat disclosed that the conference will help young women understand who they are in Christ, empower them, and provide practical life workshops and economic support, including micro-grants for women entrepreneurs with small businesses.

She stated that the sessions include: prayer, revival, teaching messages and interactive workshops on successful marriage and relationship guidance.

Speakers include Pastor Debola Deji Kurummi, founder of IMMERSE Coaching company, Executive Director at Ideation Hub Africa, and President at Kingdom Leaders Global Alliance; Prophet Steve Ovat, Lead Pastor of the SOMI church, Lekki Lagos; and Toyosi Etim Effiong, Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of That Good Media.

Ovat further stated that the Glam and Fire Conference 5th anniversary edition will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions, a brief documentary on the NGO, raffle draw, and fashion booth where participants will collect free fashion items.

“As a build up to the conference, SOMI Church will be having outreach program to secondary schools in Mende community to encourage young girls to focus more on virtues and value than on the distractions and peer pressure that may derail their destiny,” she added.

The Convener, Pastor Peggy Ovat of SOMI Church Lekki, is the resident pastor at the SOMI Church and a global speaker passionate about spiritual, economic, and social development of women and girl- child.
