LOUD Vocational Graduates Receive Entrepreneurship Support from Fidossi

Graduates of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s Project Lagos of Our Dream (LOUD) vocational training centre have acknowledged entrepreneurship support received from a programme sponsor.

The students made the remarks during their graduation ceremony in Surulere, Lagos State, on 2 September this year.

Top students from the Mixology class received blenders to assist with post-training business setup while a cash prize of N100,000 prize was allocated to the most active students from the general class. The sponsors, Fidossi Wines and Spirits also gave guests and students an experience of their top brands, Fidossi Spumante wines and Silvio Carta Brandy XO.

Graduates were also provided with drinks for the ceremony, including products from the sponsor’s portfolio.

The event forms part of wider skills-acquisition efforts in Lagos, which recently saw thousands of residents graduate from state-backed vocational and entrepreneurship programmes.

“We are proud of the support we have consistently received from our able Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu. He embodies the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“By ensuring young people in Lagos State are equipped with vocational skills that position them to earn an income through the Project LOUD initiative, he has delivered on his youth empowerment promises and given hope to the teeming youth segment.

“We are also grateful to Fidossi Wines & Spirits, which has proven to be our good partner for three consecutive years now”, said Kenny Bakare, organiser of the event and Senior Special Assistant to the governor.

A beneficiary, Vivian Chioma, expressed. “I want to thank Fidossi Wines and Spirits for giving me a blender to kick-start my Mixology business. I pray God continue to bless their company.”

Another beneficiary, Akelo Oluwakemi, who received a cash prize, expressed her gratitude. “You made my day. I am so happy for the cash. It will fill up some gaps. Thanks so much.”

Ok his part, the CEO, Fidelis Egbochie, stated, “We prioritise Nigerians’ happiness. Through the distribution of well-refined wine and spirit brands, we serve ‘happiness’ across all social occasions that matter to the people.

“We are delighted to be giving back to society by supporting the entrepreneurial journeys of young people in Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s vocational training centre.

“Our donation of tools and cash prizes will encourage the beneficiaries to kickstart small-scale businesses almost immediately.”
