War of Words: How Sowore, Amaechi Set NBA Conference Ablaze 

Those who gathered for the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) conference in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, expecting the usual cocktail of intellectual discourse, legal fireworks and political commentary, certainly got more than they bargained for. What unfolded before the audience was an electrifying encounter that transformed the conference hall into an unexpected theatre of political drama.

The moment Omoyele Sowore and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, locked horns, the atmosphere reportedly changed almost instantly. What was expected to be a robust exchange of political views soon assumed the intensity of a heavyweight contest, with both men refusing to yield an inch.

Sowore, known for his forthright and often uncompromising views, appeared unwilling to spare his opponent. Amaechi, equally experienced in the rough-and-tumble of Nigerian politics, was not one to retreat either. 

For a few tense moments, the atmosphere was reportedly so charged that some attendees feared punches might soon replace political arguments.
