Zee Residence Opens in Lekki, Targets Premium Residential Hospitality Market

A new boutique hospitality destination, Zee Residence, is set to commence operations in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, with its official opening scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026.
The development adds to the growing residential hospitality segment, offering accommodation designed to cater to business travellers, leisure guests, families and visitors seeking extended stays.
According to the developers, the property comprises 19 furnished suites, including studio apartments, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom residences, with facilities aimed at combining the comfort of residential living with hotel services.
Amenities at the residence include uninterrupted power supply, treated water, high-speed internet access, a fitness centre, in-house dining, housekeeping, laundry services and security.
Speaking ahead of the opening, the Chairman of Zee Residence, Dr. Babatunde (Tunde) Rufai, said the project was conceived to meet the changing preferences of travellers seeking greater privacy, comfort and personalised service.
“Today’s traveller is looking for more than a room. They want somewhere they can arrive, settle in comfortably, conduct business, spend quality time with family or simply unwind in complete peace of mind. Zee Residence was created to deliver exactly that experience,” he said.
Rufai added that the company aims to build a hospitality brand anchored on operational excellence, consistency and quality service.
“Our ambition is not merely to operate another hospitality facility. We are building a brand that will be recognised for consistency, trust and exceptional guest experiences,” he said.
According to the company, the residence operates under seven core values—guest service, respect, accountability, confidentiality, excellence, integrity and professionalism—which are intended to guide service delivery.
The official opening is expected to bring together invited guests, business leaders, partners and stakeholders in the hospitality industry.
