World PR Day 2026: GLG Communications Unveils 2026 Jury for Milestone 5th Edition of PR Power List

GLG Communications has unveiled the distinguished jury responsible for selecting the 2026 PR Power List, as the platform marks its milestone fifth edition in celebration of World PR Day.

Published annually in partnership with The Guardian, the PR Power List has become Nigeria’s definitive annual list recognising excellence in public relations and strategic communications. The platform celebrates 50 of Nigeria’s most influential public relations and communications professionals whose work continues to shape organisations, industries and society through strategic communications.
Over the past five years, the PR Power List has grown into one of the communications industry’s most anticipated annual recognitions, documenting the evolution of public relations while celebrating the professionals shaping its future.

Speaking on the milestone fifth edition, the Managing Partner of GLG Communications and Creator of the PR Power List, Omawumi Ogbe, said: “Five years ago, we set out to create a credible platform that recognises excellence in public relations and strategic communications. Today, the PR Power List has grown beyond an annual list; it has become a record of the people shaping our profession and documenting its evolution.


“As we celebrate this milestone fifth edition, we are proud to honour professionals whose works continue to raise the standard of public relations and strategic communications in Nigeria.”
She stated that, in keeping with the PR Power List’s longstanding tradition, the jury is announced only after the selection process concludes, ensuring an independent, merit-based evaluation free of external influence.
The 2026 jury is chaired by Kwame Senou, the executive director of The Holding Opinion and Public (THOP), Regional Advisor at Edelman, and PRCA Global Advisory Board Member.


Other members of this year’s jury include Segun McMedal, lead partner, Upticomm Marketing Company; Andras Sztaniszlav, President, Hungary PR Association and Strategic Communication Adviser; Autumn Marie Faraj, visionary founder and CEO, KGL FWRD; Obinna Inogbo, founder and principal ocnsultant of Worktainment Limited; Adetutu Laditan, creative director, Woof Studios Africa; Olamide Jasanya, Communications and Engagement Manager; Marian Ogaziechi, managing director, Dentsu Agyle; Anietie Udoh, divisional director, Marketing Edge; and Babajide Benson, executive director, CAST Public Relations.

The 2026 PR Power List was unveiled on July 16, 2026, to commemorate World PR Day, while this year’s honourees will be celebrated at the PR Power List Soirée and Awards on July 17, 2026, in Ikoyi, Lagos.
