By Ugo Aliogo
Growth-X Limited has been selected to participate in the Mastercard Foundation Fund for Alumni Start-ups in Transition (FAST) programme, implemented in partnership with Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB) Nigeria.
The company is among early-stage ventures admitted into the programme’s Idea Phase, under which selected participants receive enterprise development support, mentorship and funding of up to $5,000 to advance their business ideas.
Growth-X Limited said it would apply the funding towards the development of the Growth Space, a digital learning platform designed to provide entrepreneurship training and business development support for founders.
Speaking on the selection, Co-founder of Growth-X Limited, Sarah Adesemoye, said the support would enable the company to expand the platform’s development and strengthen its focus on practical support for entrepreneurs.
According to her, the company aims to create a platform that combines learning with structured accountability for business founders.
The company’s Product and Technology Lead, Bolarinwa Ajayi, said the platform is being developed to support cohort-based learning, allowing participants to monitor progress and collaborate throughout their training programmes.
Also commenting, Founding Product Designer, Femi Olanipekun, said the platform was being designed with a mobile-first approach to improve accessibility for users across different African markets.
The FAST programme, implemented by the Mastercard Foundation in collaboration with Co-Creation Hub Nigeria and other partner organisations, is designed to support entrepreneurs transitioning from the idea stage to building sustainable businesses through funding, mentorship and enterprise support.
Growth-X Limited said it has worked with entrepreneurs through business consulting and training programmes across several African countries and expects the programme to support the next phase of its product development.
