MyPassyApp Launches Digital Finance Platform
By Bennett Oghifo
MyPassyApp, a digital finance platform offering cryptocurrency trading, gift card transactions, airtime purchases and bill payment services, has officially launched after several years of development.
According to the company, the platform was developed over a three-year period, during which its founder, Paschal Offor, popularly known as Passy, said the product underwent further refinement before its public release.
Speaking at the launch, Offor said the decision to delay the rollout was intended to allow additional time for product development.
“Three years ago, we could have launched. We chose not to because we wanted to continue improving the platform before making it available to users,” he said.
MyPassyApp builds on the operations of Passyxchange, a digital asset business through which the company has previously provided cryptocurrency and related financial services.
The launch event, hosted by media personality Uti Nwachukwu, was attended by customers, business associates, family members and guests, including content creators Valking and Mbah.
Activities at the event included demonstrations of the platform’s features and promotional giveaways for attendees.
The company said the application has attracted more than 1,500 users since becoming publicly available on May 15, adding that it intends to continue expanding its range of digital financial services.
MyPassyApp provides users with services including cryptocurrency transactions, gift card trading, airtime purchases and bill payments through a single digital platform.
