Comedian Franchez makes Lagos debut with sold-out show at Terra Kulture
Folalumi Alaran in Abuja
Nigerian comedian Franchez has recorded a major milestone in his comedy career after successfully staging his first show in Lagos, where he sold out the venue and delivered a widely praised performance.
The show, held at Terra Kulture, was organised to celebrate fathers and honour their contributions to families and society, while also providing an avenue for entertainment and laughter.
The event marked Franchez’s official entry into the Lagos comedy scene after relocating to the city about two years ago from Enugu, where he had previously built a strong reputation through his comedy shows and performances.
Despite being his first major show in Lagos, the event attracted a large audience and received positive reactions from attendees, with fans describing his performance as a display of creativity, experience, and strong audience connection.
Franchez has over the years established himself within the entertainment space in Enugu, consistently drawing audiences with his comedy and live performances.
His Lagos debut further highlighted his ability to connect with audiences beyond his traditional base, as he successfully transitioned from the Enugu comedy scene into one of Nigeria’s biggest entertainment markets.
The comedian is expected to continue expanding his reach with more shows in different locations, including Enugu, where he maintains a strong following.
His latest achievement adds to the growing number of entertainers taking their craft beyond regional audiences and building wider platforms across Nigeria.
