Falcon Aero Names New Chairman in Regional, Global Growth Drive

Falcon Aerospace Limited is intensifying expansion beyond the sub-region into key African economic hubs, as part of moves to strengthen its international presence and mobilise capital for growth.

The company said the move will deepen connectivity across Africa, while positioning business aviation as a driver of economic development on the continent. 

In advancing this objective, the firm   appointed veteran pilot and seasoned aviation administrator, Captain Folayele Akinkuotu as Director and Chairman of its Board of Directors.

Chief Executive Officer of Falcon Aero, Erika Achum reiterated that the appointment comes to intensify the company’s continental and international ambitions.

He described Akinkuotu as one that embodies the institutional memory and regulatory backbone of African aviation, adding his distinguished background, especially with the apex regulators positions the company to revolutionise business aviation. 

Chief Operating Officer of Falcon Aero, Tejumade Salami added that Akinkuotu appointment was timely.

 “His arrival signals a bold new phase for our cross-border ambitions. This is coming at a crucial time when our continental expansion requires stronger alignment between corporate agility and stringent international regulatory standards.

“We are certain his chairmanship will serve as a catalyst for broader industry advocacy, demonstrating how private aviation operators can collaborate effectively with regional regulatory frameworks to drive economic growth, strengthen regional connectivity, create high-value jobs and accelerate seamless market integration across Africa”, Salami stated. 

Accepting the new challenge, Akinkuotu pledged full commitment at ensuring the airline delivers seamless, safe, and premium aviation mobility.
