The National President of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Prince Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem (SAN), has
called on Nigerians to embrace the enduring values of sacrifice, justice, compassion and unity as Muslims across the world celebrate this year’s Eid-ul-Kabir.

Prince Kazeem also appealed to leaders and privileged members of the society to extend kindness to others on the occasion of this year’s Eid-ul-Kabir.

In a statement on Tuesday, Kazeem acknowledged the economic challenges in the country but added that by coming together as a people, the country would overcome all challenges.

According to him, many Nigerians continue to face difficult realities, adding that families are making extraordinary efforts to meet basic obligations and provide for their loved ones amid economic pressures and uncertainties.

He said: “Many citizens remain concerned about issues affecting their daily lives, including the cost of living, security, social cohesion and opportunities for the future.

“As people of faith, we must not be indifferent to these realities. We must acknowledge them with sincerity and respond with compassion, understanding and a renewed sense of collective responsibility and purpose.”

Kazeem stated that true devotion required discipline, patience and selflessness and reminded us of higher responsibilities owed to humanity and society.

He reminded those entrusted with leadership that this season should serve as a reminder that public office remained a trust.

Kazeem advised citizens to reject dishonesty, corruption, intolerance and actions that could undermine the progress and stability of the nation.

Addressing Nigerian youths directly, Prince Kazeem encouraged them not to surrender to despair or hopelessness despite prevailing challenges in the country.

He urged young people to remain committed to education, innovation, entrepreneurship and hard work, while resisting violence, extremism, criminality and other negative influences.
Reaffirming the commitment of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria to national development, the National President noted that the Society has, for over a century, contributed significantly to education, humanitarian services and moral development across Nigeria.

He assured that the organisation would continue to strengthen communities and contribute meaningfully to the country’s peace and progress.

The President concluded by praying for divine guidance, wisdom and sincerity for leaders at all levels and for lasting peace, stability and prosperity in Nigeria.

He also urged Nigerians to embody the true spirit of Eid-ul-Kabir by extending kindness, generosity and hope to those in need.
“May Allah accept our prayers, sacrifices and acts of worship, continue to unite our hearts and strengthen our nation,” he said..
