PFL Debuts Mixed Martial Arts in Lagos
The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced the complete fight card for the upcoming PFL Africa First Round event, set for Saturday, June 13, 2026.
The event, which will feature opening round matchups in Lagos, will also feature Africa’s Bantamweight and Lightweight tournaments alongside showcase bouts highlighting some of the region’s top emerging stars.
Headlining the card will be a Featherweight Showcase between Nigeria’s Wasi Adeshina and Spain’s Ignacio Campos.
Adeshina enters the bout competing in front of a home crowd as one of Nigeria’s standout athletes, while Campos brings international experience from the global roster into the matchup.
Also, Nigeria’s Patrick Ocheme faces Cameroon’s Octave Ayinda in a Lightweight Tournament first round matchup.
The card will also feature a middleweight bout showcasing other highly skilled athletes anticipated by regional fans following their previous rivalry outside the PFL Africa cage.
