Nigeria Info and Wazobia FM Earn Top Honours at BON Awards
Nigeria Info FM and Wazobia FM have been recognised at the 2026 Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) Awards, earning honours that highlight their contributions to Nigeria’s radio broadcasting landscape.
Nigeria Info FM’s Kofi Bartels was awarded Presenter of the Year (Radio), in recognition of his professionalism, consistency, and contribution to informed public discourse.
Wazobia FM also recorded a major win, with its programme ‘Calabar Gyels’ receiving Best Radio Show (Indigenous Language). The award reflects the station’s continued focus on culturally relevant programming and its strong connection with audiences through indigenous language content.
Commenting on the recognition, the General Manager, Femi Obong-Daniels, said: “We are pleased to see the work of our teams recognized at this year’s BON Awards.
