Hon. Hafiz Kawu Felicitates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at 74

Hon. Hafiz Kawu OON, mni, Executive Commissioner (Technical) of the National Pension Commission (PENCOM), has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his 74th birthday.

In his message, Hon. Kawu described President Tinubu as a leader of towering influence, whose courage, foresight, and resilience have consistently shaped Nigeria’s democratic and developmental journey. He noted that Tinubu’s life story is inseparably tied to the struggle for democracy, the building of institutions, and the empowerment of people across the nation.

“President Tinubu is a statesman of enduring greatness. His courage in the face of adversity, his foresight in governance, and his ability to inspire confidence have consistently set him apart. From the pro-democracy struggles to his transformative leadership in Lagos State, and now as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he has proven that leadership is about service, sacrifice, and building enduring institutions,” Hon. Kawu stated.

He further emphasized that President Tinubu’s achievements are evident in his bold reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy, restoring investor confidence, and strengthening governance. “The removal of fuel subsidies, the harmonization of foreign exchange, and the renewed focus on infrastructure and energy are courageous decisions that reflect his determination to secure Nigeria’s long-term stability. These reforms, though challenging, are laying the foundation for a stronger and more prosperous nation,” Hon. Kawu added.

Hon. Kawu also praised Tinubu’s enduring legacy as a mentor and cultivator of talent. He noted that countless leaders across Nigeria today trace their political growth to Tinubu’s guidance and support, a testament to his belief in empowering others and ensuring continuity of leadership. “President Tinubu is not only a leader of today but a mentor of tomorrow.
