Why we hosted “ADALET CATALYST” in Abuja – Dr Emem Alban
Dr. Emem Aniekanabasi Alban and global partners bring together students, diplomats and media leaders to inspire youth advocacy for justice, rights and social responsibility.
Humanitarian leaders, diplomats, educators, media professionals, and students gathered in Abuja for the impactful “Adalet Catalyst” dialogue, a youth-focused initiative designed to promote justice, rights awareness, and responsible leadership among young people.
The event was convened through a collaboration between the End Hunger Humanitarian Initiative (EHHI), founded by Dr. Emem Aniekanabasi Alban, the EntrustHer Development and Support Initiative, founded by Barr. Joy Amore, the Yunus Emre Enstitüsü, led by Director Mr. Fatih Erkin MAHDUM, and Aduvie International School, founded by Dr. Ayima Lott-Jonathan, PhD.
The gathering brought together distinguished guests, humanitarian advocates, diplomats, media professionals, and students for meaningful conversations centered on justice, youth empowerment, and global citizenship.
Among the dignitaries present were the Deputy Head of Mission of the Turkish Embassy in Abuja, Aylin Belen, Head of Consular Department of the Turkish Embassy Abuja, Ambassador Adefunke Oni, Global Ambassador of the African Tourism Board, H.W. Best Amadin Ojukwu, and Sare Tok, News Producer at TRT Africa.
The event was expertly anchored by Ruth Aguele, Humanitarian Correspondent, Producer and Presenter with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
Cultural Exchange and Dialogue
The programme featured vibrant cultural exchanges reflecting the collaboration between Nigeria and Turkey, including Turkish and Nigerian music and dance performances.
Participants engaged in panel discussions led by students and distinguished panelists, addressing themes around justice, rights, and youth action.
The programme also included fireside chats and creative student expressions, providing young participants with an opportunity to share ideas and perspectives on leadership and social responsibility.

The Adalet Catalyst initiative emphasizes the importance of empowering young people to become advocates for justice and catalysts for positive change within their communities and across the world.
