ClickOptions Unveils $150,000 Demo Trading Championship for African Traders

ClickOptions has announced a continent-wide demo trading championship with a total prize pool of 150,000 dollars for African traders.

This trading, which kicked off on February 23, will end on 20 April 2026.

The competition is hosted on the ClickOptions crypto options platform, which focuses on providing lower all‑in trading costs and institutional-grade infrastructure for derivatives traders.

Contest structure and prizes
The ClickOptions Demo Trading Championship will run entirely on demo accounts. This means that participants do not risk real capital while competing for cash prizes paid in USDT.

Each registered trader receives a $10,000 equivalent demo balance (about N15.2 million) to trade during the contest window.

The organiser has earmarked 150,000 dollars in prizes, with rewards spread across the top 50 contestants.

The headline awards include $50,000 for first place, $30,000 for second place and $20,000 for third place. There will be additional cash prizes scaled down across ranks four to 50.

In naira terms, the top prize alone is positioned as life‑changing capital for housing, vehicle purchase or business investment for successful Nigerian and African participants.

Participation rules
According to the organisers in a pr, participation is free, with no deposit required to enter the championship.

To qualify for ranking, traders must meet a minimum of 20 executed trades and at least 10 active trading days over the duration of the contest.

“Accounts must be preserved for the duration of the event, as blowing up the demo balance may disqualify participants from prize consideration under the risk‑management rules outlined by the organiser,” the statement added.

Trading is conducted under real‑market conditions, with access to instruments such as crypto options and other derivatives supported on the ClickOptions venue.

The event is open globally but is being aggressively promoted to African traders, particularly in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and South Africa, where retail derivatives activity has grown strongly in recent years.

Platform and positioning
ClickOptions describes itself as a crypto options venue built to compress all‑in trading costs through low commissions, a central order book and a “CeDeFi” architecture that combines centralised execution with decentralised liquidity.

The championship is part of a broader growth strategy that also includes an airdrop campaign and a planned 50‑million‑dollar token sale to deepen liquidity and user engagement on the platform.

By staging a large, no‑risk demo competition with a six‑figure prize pool, the company is positioning the championship as both a skills showcase for African traders and an on‑ramp for new users to test crypto options strategies in a professional environment without putting personal funds at risk.

Interested participants can register through the official contest portal, with updates and community engagement provided via the project’s social media channels.
