Resilience, Consistency Key To Success, Stakeholders Tell Female Entrepreneurs

Women entrepreneurs have been admonished to build, scale, and succeed starting from where they are.

They were also encouraged to embrace humble beginnings while cultivating bold, long-term visions.

This was an admonishment given at the third edition of “Be More with Chinney Love Eze” held in Lagos.

The conference with the theme, “Start Small, Believe Big” convened emerging female entrepreneurs, creatives, founders, and professionals for a transformational experience centered on empowerment, enterprise development, and direct access to funding.

The event delivered actionable strategies, authentic conversations, real funding opportunities, and life-changing support systems for women determined to rise in business and leadership.

In her welcome address, the convener, Chinney Love Eze said “Nobody owes you help. Start something, remain consistent, and one day your effort will meet opportunity.”

Eze who is an award-winning filmmaker, director, producer, mentor, and advocate for women’s advancement noted that her philosophy formed the backbone of the conference, while encouraging resilience, responsibility, and long-term growth.

“Be More is a movement for women who are ready to rise. Dream big, start where you are, and stay consistent,” she said.

Optival Capital Executive Director Amaka reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to supporting women-led enterprises across Nigeria and Africa. The firm’s partnership underscored the importance of financial institutions investing in female founders. “When women win, communities rise. Our mission is to fuel that rise.”

Nikky Ufondu, the CEO of Dream Luxury Homes,contributed ₦500,000 in empowerment funding toward participant support and grants.

The conference featured an influential lineup of accomplished women across media, business, fashion, digital innovation, and beauty. They include; Veteran Actress, Joke Silva; Media Executive, Agatha Amata; Digital Creator & Businesswoman, Laura Ikeji; Fashion Mogul, Medlin Boss; Digital & Lifestyle Expert, Nons Miraj and Beauty Industry Leader, Daphne Okoronkwo.

The speakers discussed on Business structure and growth strategy; Branding for visibility and longevity; Digital innovation and content monetization; Scaling creative enterprises; Turning talent into sustainable income; and Building influence and financial independence.
