Nwokeji Commends Gov Nwifuru Over Salary Consistency, Development Strides in Ebonyi
- Says gov deserves celebrating @51
Managing Director of Zotmann International Limited Mrs Nneamaka Nwokeji has commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for maintaining consistent salary payments and advancing key development initiatives across the state.
In a statement issued to mark the governor’s 51st birthday, Nwokeji described Nwifuru as a leader whose administration has demonstrated fiscal discipline and a strong commitment to workers’ welfare despite prevailing economic challenges in the country.
According to Nwokeji, Ebonyi remains one of the few states where civil servants receive their salaries regularly, a development he said has brought stability to families and strengthened confidence in the state’s leadership.
“At a time when many subnational governments are grappling with economic pressures, Ebonyi workers continue to receive their salaries without disruption. This consistency speaks volumes about prudent management and a people-oriented administration,” he said.
Beyond salary payments, Nwokeji commended the governor for prioritizing human capital development, particularly through the sponsorship of over 1,400 Ebonyi indigenes for postgraduate studies within Nigeria and abroad. He noted that the initiative reflects a long-term strategy to equip the state’s workforce with the skills needed for sustainable growth.
He also highlighted ongoing efforts in the health sector, including the recruitment of medical personnel to strengthen service delivery in general hospitals across the state. According to her, the move has improved access to quality healthcare, especially for residents in rural communities.
Nwokeji further applauded the administration’s commitment to clearing outstanding gratuities owed to retirees, describing it as a demonstration of empathy and responsible governance.
On infrastructure and security, she observed that the state government’s interventions in road construction, rural water supply, and conflict resolution have created a more stable environment for economic activities to thrive.
She urged residents of the state to continue supporting the governor’s policies, stressing that sustained development requires collective effort and civic participation.
Nwokeji concluded that Governor Nwifuru’s leadership style—anchored on what he described as the practical implementation of the People’s Charter of Needs—has positioned Ebonyi State on a path of steady growth and inclusive development.
