Dan RicHeE Introduces “Pages” A New Chapter for New Skool Ogene

Nigerian recording artist and founder of the New Skool Ogene movement, Dan RicHeE, is set to release his new EP titled Pages on February 25, 2026.

Pages is a six-track body of work that explores cultural identity, growth, gratitude, resilience, and forward motion. Rooted in traditional Igbo Ogene influences and layered with modern production, the project represents the next phase of Dan RicHeE’s evolving sound New Skool Ogene.

The EP opens with “Intro to Pages,” setting the tone for a body of work that blends ancestral rhythm with contemporary structure. Across the project, Dan RicHeE moves between reflection and ambition, faith and discipline, culture and global aspiration.

Two lead tracks anchor the release:

“AVE” is a celebratory acknowledgment of women, grace, and the role of community in personal elevation. The record combines melodic chant with modern bounce, expressing appreciation while maintaining cultural tone.

“RUNNIN” shifts the energy toward ambition and motion. Built on an electronic house-influenced foundation, the track symbolizes movement, pursuit, and momentum, sonically positioning New Skool Ogene within a global framework.

Other tracks on the EP include:
• Akonuche
• Worthy
• Obu M’Uzo

Each record contributes to the larger narrative: discipline over hype, patience over noise, and culture as foundation.

Production on Pages features contributions from Sparkzy, Destro, Benjay, Freedom of Sound, Lovelyn, and Yaphon Dabeat, with writing credits led by Chima Chimezie Richard.

Rather than chasing trends, Pages presents a deliberate sonic identity bridging indigenous rhythm with contemporary ambition.

Artist Statement

“Pages is not just music. It is documentation. Each track represents a stage where I started, what I’ve learned, and where I’m going. New Skool Ogene is about preserving roots while moving forward with intention. This project is the foundation for what comes next.

— Dan RicHeE

Pages will be available on all major streaming platforms on February 25, 2026.
