Fortreal Real Estate Academy Leads Real Transformation in Africa
What began as an educational initiative in 2024 has evolved into one of Nigeria’s premier real estate professional development platform, with Fortreal Real Estate Academy’s annual gatherings attracting growing numbers of industry leaders nationwide.
The academy launched its first Abuja Realtors’ Conference in 2024. By 2025, the event had expanded significantly, drawing over 1,500 attendees from 16 Nigerian states for the Abuja Real Estate Conference. Participants reported substantial improvements in business clarity and performance following the conference.
This year marked a strategic shift in approach. The 2026 edition transitioned from a free event to an exclusive, high-ticket retreat, attracting senior real estate professionals, developers, and investors from more than 10 states across the federation.
The three-day intensive programme focused on systems development, legacy building, and contemporary real estate strategies for professionals seeking to establish substantial enterprises.
Participants described the experience as transformative. “I believe we will never be the same unless we limit ourselves, and I personally won’t forget this 2026 conference in my lifetime,” one attendee stated.
Another participant called the retreat “revolutionary,” adding that “this weekend will definitely echo long into the future and beyond me.”
According to the host, Raymond Ijeomah, “this year’s retreat is the beginning of the next phase of real estate education for us as an institution. We believe that through real estate education, the African real estate sector can be better and we are taking the lead to ensure that happens.
