Bridging Prosperity: Africa’s 100 Global Icons to Meet in New York

Africa’s 100 Most Notable Business & Investment Round Table 2026 is scheduled to hold on January 6 in Brooklyn, New York, United States of America.

The event is in partnership with the 100 Most Notable Peace Icon Africa, Alpha Apogee and the America Management University.

The high-profile gathering is designed to bring together influential African business leaders, investors, policymakers, and members of the diaspora to discuss sustainable investment and economic growth on the continent.

The event, themed “Bridges of Prosperity: Unlocking Diaspora Capital for Africa’s Economic Transformation,” will focus on mobilising diaspora resources, fostering strategic partnerships, and creating pathways for long-term economic development across Africa.

The round table will also be an avenue to honour individuals and institutions that have raised the bar of excellence in humanitarian aid and business leadership.

Speaking ahead of the event, Kingsley Amafibe (Ambassador), Project Director Africa, Peace Ambassador Agency and 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business summit, said the round table is strategically positioned to deepen collaboration between Africa and the international community.

“This event will open more channels and connections for businesses and international partners to forge bilateral relationships in peace building and business opportunities,” Amafibe said. “Our goal is to create a trusted platform where ideas translate into investments, and partnerships translate into sustainable impact for Africa.”

He added that hosting the round table in New York underscores the importance of the African diaspora in driving capital inflow, innovation, and global partnerships that support peace and economic transformation on the continent.

The event is expected to attract top executives, investors, development advocates, and diplomats, such as Prince Daniel Wilson, Stella Okengwu (Engr), Dr Asu Kunemofa, Paul Bolu, Mariama Fofanah, Dr Nimi Briggs, Emmanuel Ajoku, Markanthony Akem, David Cross (Kwate).
