Nigerian Travel Tech Startup Anuju Launches Platform Offering Low-Cost Global Flights and Hotels
A Nigerian travel technology company, Anuju Ltd, has launched a digital travel booking platform aimed at making flights and hotel reservations more affordable for Nigerians through locally tailored pricing and technology-driven services.
Founded in 2025, Anuju operates through web and mobile platforms, providing users access to international and domestic travel options with a strong focus on affordability and ease of booking.
Anuju partners with over 700 airlines and more than one million hotels worldwide, enabling users to compare and book travel options across multiple destinations. The company says its platform is designed to address challenges faced by Nigerian travelers, including foreign currency pricing and limited local customer support on global booking platforms.
Speaking on the company’s focus, Howard Adeniyi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Anuju Ltd, said the platform was developed with Nigerian users at its core.
“Our objective is to make travel booking simpler and more accessible for Nigerians by offering competitive pricing, transparent booking, and customer support that understands local needs,” Adeniyi said.
Adeniyi brings more than 15 years of experience in the technology sector and five years in the travel industry to the company. He is also an experienced e-commerce founder with business operations in the United States and the United Kingdom, experience that has shaped Anuju’s approach to building scalable and reliable digital platforms.
The company’s pricing model allows customers to view and pay for bookings in Naira, a feature Anuju says helps reduce friction associated with foreign currency payments. Customer support services are also structured to cater specifically to Nigerian travelers.
According to the company, Anuju plans to continue expanding its airline and hotel partnerships while improving its mobile and web platforms to enhance user experience and adoption among Nigerian travelers, including those in the diaspora
