Rotimi Makinde Hails Ooni Of Ife For Establishing Ojaja University

A former member of the National Assembly who represented Ife Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Rotimi Makinde has commended the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi for establishing Ojaja University, Ile-Ife campus.

Makinde’s heartfelt felicitation was contained in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Tuesday by his media office.

The Ife born politician said: “Ile-Ife is mostly blessed with the choices of who becomes their King, interestingly Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi is another blessing to this generation, within just a span of 10 years, he has been a creative icon to several legacies and influential to many people, the latest being the Ojaja University is worthy of commendation. And of course this latest legacy project is deserving of the support of all people of goodwill.

“Permit me to also add that Ojaja University’s establishment is a significant achievement in the Nigerian higher education landscape. It is a testament to the philanthropic efforts of our highly revered monarch. The university’s commitment to providing quality education to Nigerian youths is a vision very well thoughtout. Ojaja University’s vision and mission are clear to democratize access to quality education and to provide a nurturing environment for students to excel academically and personally.
