Paradigm Initiative Awards 10 Scholarships to Lagos Students
The Paradigm Initiative Foundation has awarded 10 educational scholarships to financially disadvantaged students in Lagos, aiming to empower future generations through access to quality education.
The scholarships were presented by Gbenga Sesan, CEO of the non-governmental organization, at the 2025 Taiwo Bankole Award Ceremony.
Sesan described the initiative as a means to bridge the gap caused by a lack of resources and as a way of giving back to the community where the organization was established.
The scholarships are primarily focused on students pursuing university degrees in technology-related fields, including Information Technology, Software Development, and Computer Engineering.
Eligible applicants must be residents of Ajegunle, provide a reference letter, have an admission letter, maintain a CGPA of 3.5, and remain committed to their studies.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, hostel accommodation, books, and other educational materials.
A Board member, Dr. Oluseyi Adebayo, emphasised the importance of education, noting that many Nigerian parents struggle to meet school fees, causing young talents to abandon their dreams.
He added that the initiative aims to expand beyond Ajegunle to reach students across the country.
