Experts Urge Participants On Building Sustainable Brands at Event Summit
The ninth edition of the BusyBee Event Business Summit convened industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators across Nigeria, creating a strategic platform for meaningful dialogue on the future of sustainable brand building in Nigeria.
According to an official statement by the Convener of the BusyBee Event Business Summit, Bisi Sotunde, the annual summit which had its theme as “Building Legacy-Driven Brands” was designed to challenge business owners to build brands that are not only profitable but intentional, influential, and capable of standing the test of time.
She emphasized that legacy-driven brands demand consistency, learning, and a commitment to long-term impact, noting that building such brands goes beyond daily operations to shaping structures that outlive their founders.
The summit’s keynote address was delivered by Oluwatoyin Bakare, Executive Director of SAS Textiles Ltd, a second-generation family business known for its exquisite, world-class textiles.
Speaking on “Building Legacy-Driven Brands,” she highlighted excellence as a foundational pillar for business longevity and shared practical strategies for sustaining relevance across generations.
Her session equipped the participants with realistic approaches to long-term sustainability.
Adding momentum to the conversations, Eizu Uwaoma, Business Strategist and Managing Director of Hexavia, delivered an intensive masterclass titled “Profitable Systems for Lasting Impact.”
He dissected the importance of structure, culture, and intentional systems in scaling businesses.
Uwaoma thought provoking presentation captured in the mantra “Go hard or go home” resonated with the participants.
He also encouraged entrepreneurs to embrace competition as a tool for innovation and provided a QR code for a complimentary 30-minute consultation for businesses with multiple outlets.
His contribution further reinforced the principles mentioned in the statement, particularly regarding intentionality and continuous innovation.
Chairman of BusyBee Events Group, QS Bolaji Sotunde, also addressed participants, noting that the summit’s theme was timely for businesses seeking expansion in a dynamic economy.
He expressed confidence that the insights shared would help entrepreneurs lay the foundation for brands that remain relevant for generations.
