Social Media Influencer Batife Bentley Named Among Ranks Africa Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People

Social media influencer and digital choreographer Ameera Eniola Adelekan, widely known as Batife Bentley, has been recognized by Ranks Africa Magazine as one of the recipients following her nomination for the 100 Most Impactful Brand Influencers In Africa list.
On November 22, the publication released the list of creators, artists, media personalities, and other prominent faces from diverse regions in the continent, including such notable individuals as Muriel Blanche, Cynthia Nwadiora, and Fisayo Fosudo, all of whom have individually left an indelible mark on the continent’s developing digital space.
The 20-year-old was recognized as the Brand Influencer of the Year category, being selected in the Best of the Year 2025 by Ranks Africa. According to the publication, the awards were meant to celebrate individuals and brands that made impressive contributions to storytelling and digital culture across the African continent through their work. It is said to be done in a way to evaluate their consistency in posting content, its quality, and collaborations with various brands during their career in the space.
The recognition is an important milestone for her career in the influencer space. It can be additionally proved by a post of a Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, congratulating the young woman on her success in the sphere and wishing her good luck in her further career endeavors.
Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Batife Bentley started working in the content creation field at the time of the outbreak of the pandemic. Initially popular due to her dance videos and other viral online trends, she gradually switched to brand influencing, campaigns, and collaborations with some of the most recognized influencers in Nigeria.
The switch also resulted in collaborations with several Nigerian entertainers and media personalities. One of them was Taoma and Mr Macaroni, in whose comedy sketches she starred. Furthermore, Batife Bentley plays a role in the upcoming film ‘Behind the Scenes,’ which will star such actors as Funke Akindele, Tobi Bakre, Vee, Iyabo Ojo, Ibrahim Chatta, and Scarlet Gomez.
