A prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Comrade Isaac Balami, has called for unity and collective action to address the country’s security challenges.
Speaking at a recent event, Balami emphasised the need for Nigerians to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal of peace and prosperity.

“We must recognise that we are all in this together,” Balami said. “Our diversity is our strength, and we must work to build a society where every Nigerian can live in peace and prosperity, regardless of their faith or background. This is the only way we can achieve greatness as a nation.”

Balami, who is also an aviation expert, noted that the country is facing numerous challenges, including terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping, which have affected people of all faiths and backgrounds. He urged Nigerians to reject divisive politics and instead focus on building a united and inclusive society.

“The current security situation in our country is a concern for all of us,” Balami said. “We must work together to address the root causes of these challenges and find lasting solutions. This requires a collective effort and a commitment to putting the interests of the nation above individual or sectional interests.”

The APC chieftain also praised President Bola Tinubu for his efforts to promote religious inclusion and tolerance. He noted that the President has demonstrated a commitment to fairness and justice, and has taken bold steps to address the country’s security challenges.

“President Tinubu’s leadership has been exemplary in this regard,” Balami said. “He has shown a willingness to listen and to work with all stakeholders to find solutions to our challenges. This is the kind of leadership that Nigeria needs to move forward.”

Balami, however, cautioned against extremism and urged religious leaders to speak out against violent ideologies. He emphasized the need for collective responsibility and urged Nigerians to work together to build a more peaceful and prosperous society.

“We must reject extremism in all its forms and work to build a society that is based on justice, fairness, and equality,” Balami said. “We must also hold our leaders accountable and demand that they do more to address the security challenges facing our country.”

In his remarks, Balami also urged President Tinubu to continue on the path of unity and inclusiveness, and to forgive his detractors. He expressed confidence that the President’s leadership would bring about positive change and prosperity for all Nigerians.

“Mr. President, we urge you to continue on this path of unity and inclusiveness,” Balami said. “Forgive those who have wronged you and work with them to build a better future for our country. We have no doubt that your leadership will bring about the change we desire.”

Balami’s comments come at a time when Nigeria is facing numerous security challenges, including terrorism and banditry. The country has been working to address these challenges and build a more peaceful and prosperous society.

In addition to his comments on security, Balami also spoke about the need for Nigerians to work together to address the country’s economic challenges. He noted that the economy is a major concern for all Nigerians and that collective action is needed to stimulate growth and create jobs.

“We must work together to build a more diversified economy that can create opportunities for all Nigerians,” Balami said. “This requires a collective effort and a commitment to putting the interests of the nation above individual or sectional interests.”

Overall, Balami’s remarks highlighted the need for unity and collective action in addressing the country’s challenges. He emphasized the importance of building a more peaceful and prosperous society and urged Nigerians to work together towards this goal.
