Fitness Event Held In Unilag Sport Center, Sponsored By Paygym

PayGym, a platform that allows people to access gym and fitness centers with a single subscription has launched its effort to foster a positive and healthy relationship between fitness enthusiasts and gym owners by sponsoring one of the biggest fitness events in Nigeria alongside Three Crowns, Vervelife, The American Hospitals, Reel Fruit, Smiles Digital, Pure life Health, Kfa TV, Grow Kinesis and Café One.

The fitness event, tagged #6000secfitness was held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Unilag Sport Center and was powered by Benefit International Gym (Bigym). There were over 500 fitness lovers in attendance and the event shaped resilience, challenged breakpoints, fueled passion and fostered a community of people with healthy lifestyles.

Several fitness coaches took the stage to engage people in workout routines and each session was filled with rhythmic vibes, passion, power and unforgettable cultural milestones.

The convener of the event Akinpelu Gbenga Olalekan (Big Benfit) opened the floor with fun and energetic routines and he was quickly followed by other fitness coaches including Dr Kaffy, Coach Doyin, Kemen Fitness, Mayor Fit, Ceejay Kimani, Big Mike, Blake Fitness, Dolly Phillip, Coach Trebla, Coach Ruth, Sandra For Zumba, Maja Ayida, Amaka Kamma, David Tosin, Coach Rexxie, Ogaga Onuta and JSI Fitness for 6000 seconds respectively.

After the session, a panel was held and Cassidy Nnabuife sat alongside other panelists to explain the vision of PayGym. He answered various questions regarding PayGym and he also urged people to register with the platform in order to explore its gains.

According to him, “PayGym will continue to forge strategic and meaningful partnerships aimed at empowering more people with flexibility and easy access to more than one fitness center with a single subscription. And, work closely with gym owners to get retainers for their gym space without having put in extra marketing efforts.”
